Annual Textile Exhibit The Stevens County Library is preparing for our annual Textile Exhibit to be held in February in the meeting room. If you work in animal, plant, mineral or synthetic fiber, we invite you to share your finished projects at our exhibit. All types of textiles are welcome, old or new, and we will do our best to accommodate any size. Depending upon response, participants will be allowed space for several pieces.
We will set up the on Monday and Tuesday, January 30 and 31. All pieces should be identified and ready to display. We would also like to know if the item is to be displayed on a table or if it is suitable to hang (i.e. framed, with hanger hardware).
We would like the following information for each item you plan to show so we can make display labels ahead of time:
Your name
Title of piece (Pattern or Design if possible, or Untitled)
Year completed
Medium
Size
Any background information or explanation you would like the public to know
Forms for display label information are available at the front desk.
The Textile Exhibit will be open during regular library hours and will run through Friday, Februrary 24. You may pick up your work anytime after that date.
Thank you for helping make this show a success. If you have any questions or comments, please call Eunice at 620-544-2301.
